Silent Stereo Sounds #13
Another blend of really old and really new music. We start with a track from the Peerless Quartet, the premier vocal group of the early 1900s and possibly the first hipsters. After that, it's a track from Dead Language's new release, Interwar. This tracks features some new sounds (pedal steel and Hammond organ) that are not normally found on Dead Language tracks. Finally, we play a track from Kate Garner, a friend of ours from myspace. Her sound is new and unique, but also has a strong 1920s influence.

Some great new and really old music with our new podcast. The first track is from an amazing band called The Barbary Coasters. They totally nail an early 60s sound, but they are doing new material. One of the best sounding bands we've heard in a long time. After that is a track on the Victrola from Billy Murray. Not the actor but the most popular singer from the acoustic recording era (1880-1925). Finally, we play a track from Dead Language's new release Interwar. Also there's a new installment of Digital Man and Analog Boy.
